Rachel Whittaker begins breast cancer treatment

Rachel Whittaker, a business owner in Bega, has begun her journey with breast cancer treatment. While managing a rebranding process for her flagship store, Whittaker underwent diagnostic procedures including mammograms, ultrasounds, and tissue sampling.

Whittaker started her first chemotherapy session at South East Regional Hospital on September 17. She noted the stress of the diagnosis process and expressed a desire to begin treatment promptly. Her husband, David, has been supporting her by managing her work schedule to accommodate medical appointments.
