Rachele Barbieri clinches multiple titles at 2026 Italian track cycling championships

The third day of the 2026 Campionati Italiani su Pista was held at the Velodromo San Francesco al Campo in Turin province. Rachele Barbieri (Fiamme Oro) won the women's points race, beating Matilde Vitillo and Sara Fiorin, and also secured victory in the elimination race, adding two more national titles to her earlier wins.

Sara Fiorin (Laboral Kutxa Fundación Euskadi) finished second in the points race and third in the elimination, while Anita Baima (Fiamme Azzurre) took third in the elimination. In the men's events, Matteo Fiorin (Cs Esercito) captured the elimination title, complementing his earlier omnium and team pursuit victories. Christian Fantini (Solme‑Olmo‑Arvedi) won the men's points race, ahead of Davide Boscaro and Alessio Magagnotti. Miriam Vece (Fiamme Oro) claimed the women's speed title. The championships featured a range of other podium finishes across omnium, keirin, sprint and team events.
