Racine County, Wisconsin holds children's fair and foster‑care carnival
The Racine County Fair hosted a Children’s Day featuring a Junior Western Horse Show, Junior Swine Showmanship, a Pedal Tractor Pull for ages 4‑12, and a Cream Puff Eating Contest. Participants of all ages received ribbons, with top awards presented by Fairest of Fair 2026 Abby Nelson and Racine County 4‑H Outstanding Teens.
On August 15, 2026, the 2nd Annual Racine County Foster Care Community Carnival and Together We SCAN Walk took place at Grace Church. The free carnival offered activities from bounce houses to K‑9 demonstrations, while the walk promoted the Stop Child Abuse and Neglect (SCAN) program and encouraged community involvement in foster‑care support. Registration was $10 (or $25 with a commemorative T‑shirt), with children six and younger admitted free.
