Toulouse prepares for Top 14 semi‑final against Racing 92

Stade Toulousain, who topped the Top 14 regular season, will face Racing 92 in the semi‑final on 19 June in Marseille. Toulouse enter as the favourites but have struggled with consistency, acknowledging the need to “show a better face” and maintain discipline in a knockout match.

Racing 92 arrive after a narrow 33‑31 victory over Pau, having already endured a high‑penalty game earlier in the season that saw centre Janick Tarrit receive a red card for a head‑butt. The club is among the most indisciplined sides, conceding 296 penalties and 25 yellow cards, with prop Demba Bamba leading the league in penalties awarded against him (29). Both teams will look to balance aggression with control as they vie for a place in the Top 14 final.
