Racing America announces NA Formula Ladder for 2027

Racing America has announced the launch of the NA Formula Ladder, a three-step driver development system scheduled to debut at Road Atlanta in March 2027. The platform is designed to transition racers from karting to professional motorsports, allowing drivers to begin single-seater racing at age 14.

The ladder consists of three distinct championships: the NAJr Championship, the NA4 Championship, and the NA3 Championship. These series will utilize Ligier formula cars and Hankook tires. To increase exposure, the ladder will partner with the Trans Am Series and NASCAR Canada, providing drivers with access to larger audiences and expanded media coverage.

According to Racing America, the program aims to offer the lowest cost per mile for developing drivers in North America. The NA3 Championship is scheduled to contest 23 rounds over eight weekends, while NA4 will complete 20 rounds over seven weekends, and NAJr will offer 14 rounds over five weekends. All events will be streamed via Racing America TV.
