Racing Club retains coach Juan Pablo Vojvoda amid sporting crisis

Racing Club has decided to maintain Juan Pablo Vojvoda as head coach despite a severe sporting crisis. Following a 2-1 defeat against Huracán, which left the team at the bottom of the Torneo Clausura Zone B, club president Diego Milito and sporting director Sebastián Saja met with Vojvoda to discuss the situation.

Vojvoda, who has led the team in 11 matches with three wins, two draws, and six losses, expressed a strong desire to continue and lead a recovery. The club leadership noted that the players have shown support for the coach and his methods. However, the decision to retain him is being treated as a match-by-match evaluation.

The team currently sits at the bottom of their group with only five points and has gone eight matches without a victory. Key upcoming fixtures include a match against Sarmiento and a high-stakes Copa Argentina quarter-final against Boca Juniors, which could significantly impact the coach's future.
