European clubs target young World Cup stars Pedro Vite and Gilberto Mora

Ecuadorian midfielder Pedro Vite impressed at the 2026 World Cup, prompting interest from Manchester United and Argentine side Racing de Avellaneda. His registration is held by Pumas de la UNAM in Mexico, and his market value is estimated at €6 million, though no formal offers have been made.

Mexican teenager Gilberto Mora also drew attention after appearing for Mexico in the tournament, logging 97 minutes across two group‑stage matches. Scouts from Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea attended Mexico’s game against the Czech Republic, while Barcelona has also listed him among its targets. Both players remain under contract with their respective clubs, and negotiations are still in the exploratory stage.
