Racing de Nueva Italia signs midfielder Leandro Mamut

Racing de Nueva Italia, coached by Gustavo Coleoni, is preparing its third reinforcement for the Primera Nacional season. The club has reached an agreement with midfielder Leandro Mamut, who most recently left Gimnasia de La Plata after a season without playing time in the top division. Mamut last appeared on 4 October 2025 against Sarmiento de Junín and made his Primera debut on 19 February 2021 in a 3‑0 win over Talleres.

Negotiations have been ongoing for more than a month, and the player is expected to be presented officially in the coming hours. Alongside Mamut, Racing has already added Nahuel Sandre and Cristian Vega, leaving one roster slot still available.
