Racing Louisville looks for investors as on‑field woes mount

Racing Louisville owner John Neace said the club is actively seeking new investors to stabilise its finances. The team, valued at about $127 million, has not taken on outside capital since its 2019 purchase and faces a growing valuation gap with newer NWSL franchises. While Neace stressed there are no current plans to relocate, he warned that without additional investment, sponsorship and fan support the club may eventually have to consider moving to another market.

On the pitch, Racing Louisville recorded a 3‑1 win over Orlando Pride, highlighted by a two‑goal performance from U.S. Women’s National Team forward Emma Sears. The victory was the club’s third in four games, but the team remains near the bottom of the league standings, sitting in second‑to‑last place with 17 points.
