Racket sports tournaments held in Florianópolis and Vitória

Recent sports events in Brazil have highlighted the growing popularity of racket sports. In Florianópolis, the 6th stage of the Brasil Padel Tour (BPT) and an Amateur Padel Championship took place at Just Play Floripa from August 14 to 16. The event featured over 70 pairs, including professional and amateur athletes. André Freitas and Gonzalo Frete secured the title in the BPT Open main competition.

In Vitória, the third edition of the Claro BT World Tour is scheduled to take place at Royal Beach Tennis on Praia de Camburi from September 17 to 20. The tournament includes a professional division with a $5,000 prize pool and an amateur program that awards points for the state ranking. The event aims to engage various demographics, ranging from youth categories to athletes over 60 years old.
