Valentina Miletić Returns to Dalmatian Home After Grueling ‘Americana’ Project

Sports journalist and TV presenter Valentina Miletić spent roughly 40 consecutive days working on HRT’s special programme “Americana”, a World Cup‑focused series that kept her on air until the early hours and involved intensive match‑day preparation, long studio sessions and constant travel. After the final episode she withdrew from the demanding schedule and travelled to her family house in Ražanj near Rogoznica, Split, where she enjoys the sea, quiet beaches and traditional Dalmatian cuisine. Miletić said the project was a career highlight, noting that it attracted viewers of all ages, but she emphasized that her private life remains unchanged – she still lives with the same circle of friends and values a simple, relaxed routine away from the crowds. She described the rest as “much‑needed” and expressed pride in having helped make the World Cup coverage engaging for a broad audience.
