Rada Tilly officials seek reports on sewage discharge onto local beaches

The Arriba Chubut political bloc in Rada Tilly has submitted an urgent request for information to the Municipal Executive regarding the discharge of liquid effluents onto local beaches. The initiative, presented by Councilman Omar Casagrande, focuses on the recurring overflow of liquid surpluses from the Rada Tilly Lagoon through a storm drain at descent N° 16.

Legislators are demanding details on preventive actions and laboratory analyses conducted on the discharged water. The request highlights concerns over public health and the lack of official information regarding mandatory bacteriological and physicochemical studies, which are required under the General Environmental Law and the Chubut Province Environmental Code.
