Radamel Falcao and Fredy Guarín attend Panama football derby

Colombian football figures Radamel Falcao and Fredy Guarín attended the San Francisco FC versus Club Atlético Independiente (CAI) derby at the Agustín ‘Muquita’ Sánchez stadium in Panama as special guests.

During a press conference, Falcao addressed rumors regarding his potential involvement with the Panama Football League (LPF) or a coaching role at San Francisco FC. He clarified that he has not officially retired as a player nor is he arriving as a coach. He noted that his presence in Panama is part of a family project to reside temporarily in the country and maintained that he holds a close friendship with San Francisco FC owner José Jimeno.

The match ended in a 2-1 victory for San Francisco FC.
