Radan Kanev discusses Andrey Gyurov's potential presidential candidacy

Radan Kanev, leader of the Democratic Bulgaria (DSB), stated that party supporters strongly expect Andrey Gyurov to run for president. Kanev emphasized that Gyurov should be nominated by a strong initiative committee rather than by specific political leaders to ensure broad support and create a viable alternative to Iliana Yotova.

Kanev also criticized the Radev cabinet's management program, describing it as largely lacking substance and resembling an election document prepared for Yotova. He expressed concern over trends toward the super-centralization of power in administration, health, justice, and the economy, noting that many current officials possess socialist or military mentalities.
