Radda in Chianti hosts immersive open-air art installation

The immersive art initiative RADDA ARTE has launched in the medieval village of Radda in Chianti, Tuscany. Led by artist Sergio Fiorentino, the project functions as an open-air gallery rather than a traditional exhibition.

Instead of using white walls and labels, the installation integrates contemporary works directly into the landscape, suspending art between narrow streets, stone buildings, and vineyards. The experience is designed as a guided walk where the artwork and the environment, including the architecture and the viticulture of the Strada Chiantigiana, engage in a mutual dialogue.

Partnering wineries serve as stops along the route, offering a new approach to cultural tourism in the Chianti Classico region by connecting contemporary art with the local history and landscape.
