Rade Šerbedžija shares love for Hajduk Split and details of his children

Actor Rade Šerbedžija, who turned 80, spoke publicly about his long‑standing affection for the Croatian football club Hajduk Split, recalling how as a youngster he collected player cards and loved the team’s white shirts with the “divine red star”. He added that he has also followed other clubs such as Partizan, NK Zagreb and, more recently, Rijeka.

Šerbedžija also talked about his family. He has five children from two marriages: son Danilo and daughter Lucija from his first marriage to Ivanka Cerovac, and daughters Ninu, Milica Alma and Vanja with his current wife Lenka Udovički. Danilo has become a film director. The actor used the interview to criticize cultural funding, saying the land is “sold out” and that cuts to culture are worrying.
