Rademacher, a brand of the Delta Dore group, promotes automated roller shutters as a retrofit solution that blocks heat at the façade. The shutters close automatically when solar intensity rises and reopen when temperatures fall, using light, temperature and wind sensors. Their Tymoov motor series, including a battery‑powered solar version, allows installation without new wiring. By reducing the need for air‑conditioning, the system lowers electricity consumption and eliminates refrigerants, while also improving building resilience to hotter summers.
