Radicali Marche joins Ukraine independence demonstration in Ancona

A delegation from Radicali Marche participated in a demonstration in Ancona on August 23 to commemorate the 35th anniversary of Ukraine's independence. The event took place amid the ongoing conflict with Russia.

Regional coordinator Veronica Petroncelli emphasized the importance of physical presence and concrete action over social media statements. The political group noted that while various national forces declare support for Ukraine, other political parties were absent from this local initiative.

During the gathering, organizers called on citizens to donate to fund the evacuation of civilians from frontline areas. The event was promoted by the associations Liberi Oltre le Illusioni, La Memoria Viva, and Lilea.
