Radio 99 FM wraps up summer festivities on Mosqueiro island in Brazil

Radio station 99 FM concluded its summer programming on Mosqueiro island, Pará, with three weekend events held at the Tony Lanches restaurant on Praia do Chapéu Virado. The station distributed promotional items, including its top‑ranked Ibope‑based shirt, and organized live on‑air interactions hosted by presenter Toni Gonçalves, known as “Carapirá”.

Listeners praised the experience, with one longtime fan saying, “Each live flash with the 99 FM audience is a remarkable experience for both the listeners and us.” Local businesses reported increased foot traffic, noting that the partnership with 99 FM helped attract tourists to the island. The station, present on Mosqueiro for 31 years, announced it will resume its summer presence in 2027.
