Radio Aftonbladet hires former SVT journalists as news anchors

Radio Aftonbladet has announced that Olivia Elander and Fredrik Hilmered will join the station as news anchors. Elander joins from SVT’s Morning Studio and Rapport, while Hilmered brings experience from SVT and Sveriges Radio.

As news anchors, they will provide breaking news updates throughout the broadcast day, supported by Aftonbladet’s newsroom and breaking news desk. This follows Aftonbladet’s takeover of a national FM network on August 1. Scheduled programming for the channel is set to begin on August 17.
