Radio Arvyla ends 30-year partnership with ANT1

The satirical television program ‘Radio Arvyla’, led by Antonis Kanakis, has officially ended its nearly 30-year collaboration with the Greek television station ANT1. The production team, Tony Productions, announced that they decided not to renew their agreement, stating the departure is being made ‘exclusively and only for reasons of principle’.

Following the conclusion of the partnership, there is speculation regarding the future of the show. Satirist Lakis Lazopoulos suggested during a broadcast on MEGA that the team's presence in the media landscape will likely continue. Observers have noted the possibility of the program transitioning to digital platforms, such as YouTube, a medium the team has successfully utilized in the past to maintain contact with their audience.
