Radio Bruno celebrates 50 years with exhibition in Carpi

Radio Bruno is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a commemorative exhibition titled ‘50 anni di Radio Bruno – 1976/2026 – La nostra storia’ in Carpi. The event will be held at the Cortile d’Onore of Palazzo dei Pio, with the inauguration scheduled for September 4, followed by public viewing from September 5 to 13.

The exhibition, curated by 21 Make It Count, focuses on the relationship between the station and its listeners through five thematic stations. It features immersive installations, multimedia content, and historical radio equipment, including a mixer from the 1970s that was featured in the film ‘Radiofreccia’ by Luciano Ligabue.

Tracing the station's history back to its origins as Radio Carpi 101, founded by Gianni Prandi in 1975, the station officially adopted the name Radio Bruno in May 1976 alongside Enrico Gualdi. The display aims to serve as an archive of shared memories, combining historical documents and photographs with the personal experiences of the community.
