Radio City Rockettes to debut new tap number and immersive tech for 2026 show

The Radio City Rockettes are set to introduce new elements to the 2026 Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall. Presented by Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp., the production will feature a new tap dance number titled ‘Ring’, choreographed by Emmy nominee Chloé Arnold to the rhythm of ‘Carol of the Bells’.

In addition to the return of tap dance, the show will implement immersive camera technology. For the first time, real-time footage from various angles—including frontal, lateral, and overhead perspectives—will be displayed on two side screens to provide the audience with a different visual experience. This technological update joins existing features such as digital projections, holographic animations, and the Sphere Immersive Sound system.
