Radio Del Plata overhauls schedule as Colombian FM stations launch new sports programming

Argentina’s Radio Del Plata (AM 1030) announced a revamp of its weekday lineup for the second half of 2026. The new schedule will feature journalist Rolando Graña hosting the morning show “RPM – Rolando Por la Mañana” from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., while veteran host Chiche Gelblung moves to the 1‑3 p.m. slot with “Hola Chiche.” Other changes include a new afternoon segment “Póker de Damas” and the return of Atilio Costa Febre for River Plate match commentary.

In Colombia, the FM network La FM is ending its “La FM Fútbol Mundial” program and will replace it on 3 August with “Sin Flitro,” hosted by Flavia Dos Santos and María Cecilia Botero. The same day an unnamed sports‑news hour is slated for 8 p.m., adding competition for existing sports shows. Commentators also noted a decline in the quality of sports journalism on local stations such as the Ibagué outlet that now relies on DJs rather than professional sports reporters.
