Radio Free Alice rises in the post-punk music scene
Radio Free Alice, an Australian post-punk band, is gaining momentum within the international music industry. Formed in 2020 by childhood friends Noah Learmonth and Jules Paradiso, the group eventually expanded in Melbourne to include bassist Michael Phillips and drummer/saxophonist Lochie Dowd.
The band has built a reputation through energetic live performances, including opening slots for major acts like The Killers. Their musical style draws influence from British indie and post-punk traditions, such as The Smiths and Joy Division, while maintaining a contemporary sound.
Following the release of their self-titled debut EP in 2023, which earned an AIR Awards nomination, the band has expanded their reach through tours in the UK, Europe, and North America. With their third EP, ‘Empty Words’, released in 2025, the group is currently preparing for a debut full-length album scheduled for 2026.
