Radiological technologists convene in Struga for 12th Congress

Approximately 200 radiological technologists gathered in Struga for the 12th Congress of the Association of Radiological Technologists. The event emphasizes the role of technologists as a pillar of modern diagnostics and therapy.

The congress is organized through a collaboration between the Association of Radiological Technologists, the Macedonian Association of Radiologists (MAR), the Macedonian Association of Radiotherapists-Oncologists (MARO), and nuclear medicine specialists. This multidisciplinary synergy aims to promote teamwork and professional development to improve the quality of the Macedonian healthcare system.

Vedrit Ibusoski, president of the Association of Radiological Technologists, noted that the success of modern medicine relies on a multidisciplinary approach. Dr. Sonja Nikolova, Director of the University Institute of Radiology - Skopje, added that the connection between radiologists and technologists is becoming increasingly vital with the advancement of new technologies, radiotherapy, and minimally invasive imaging-guided treatments.
