RadioRand celebrates fifth anniversary in Pajottenland

Local radio station RadioRand will celebrate its fifth anniversary on October 9, 2026. Founded in 2021 by Bernard Bosch, the station was established with the goal of creating a medium closely connected to the Pajottenland region and its residents.

To mark the milestone, the station is hosting an open house at its studio in Westrand, Dilbeek, allowing visitors to see behind the scenes. The celebrations will include a live performance by Dilbeek singer Ina Rose and her band, followed by an 80s and 90s party hosted by RadioRand DJs Ben Braillard and Marc Huyllebroeck.

RadioRand is operated by approximately twenty volunteers who manage programming, events, and projects. Over the past five years, the station has served as a hub for local associations, artists, and entrepreneurs, often utilizing a mobile studio to engage with the community at local markets and events.
