Radja Nainggolan suspended by Patro Eisden

Patro Eisden Maasmechelen midfielder Radja Nainggolan has been handed a two-match disciplinary suspension by coach Stijn Stijnen. The decision follows Nainggolan's failure to adhere to internal club agreements.

Speaking on the podcast ‘Ongefilterd’, Stijnen clarified that while the player's personal lifestyle is not the issue, certain ‘red lines’ were crossed. Nainggolan admitted to withholding information, stating, “The problem is not what I did, but the fact that I did not say it.”

Despite the sanction, Stijnen emphasized that there is no permanent rift between the player and the club, describing the situation as non-sensational. The disciplinary action comes during a difficult period for the Limburg-based club, which currently sits near the bottom of the Challenger Pro League following five consecutive defeats.
