Radko Gudas returns to Anaheim with Florida Panthers

Radko Gudas returned to Anaheim to face his former team, the Ducks, as a member of the Florida Panthers. During his three-season tenure in Anaheim, Gudas served as a leader and mentor to younger players, helping the team reach the playoffs for the first time since 2018.

In his return match, the Panthers lost 2-3 in overtime, with the decisive goal scored by Anaheim captain Mikael Granlund. Despite the loss, the Anaheim crowd honored Gudas with video tributes highlighting his physical playing style and his positive impact on the local community and the team's development.

Gudas, who previously played for Florida from 2020 to 2023, signed a six-year contract to return to the Panthers. While he has transitioned to a new jersey number, he expressed pride in his former role with the Ducks, calling it ‘one of the greatest honors’ of his career.
