Rado launches limited edition Captain Cook with Cameron Green

Watchmaker Rado has released a limited edition Captain Cook timepiece in collaboration with Australian cricket player Cameron Green. The collection is limited to 459 pieces, a number chosen to represent Green becoming the 459th male player to represent Australia in Test cricket.

The 42mm stainless steel watch features a green-and-gold color scheme inspired by cricket. Design elements include a green gradient sunray dial intended to resemble a cricket pitch, three yellow gold-colored dots at 12 o’clock representing stumps, and a minute track inspired by cricket ball stitching. The watch includes a yellow gold PVD-coated rotating bezel with a green high-tech ceramic insert and is powered by the automatic calibre R763 movement, which offers an 80-hour power reserve.

The timepiece is water-resistant up to 300 meters and features a screw-down caseback engraved with Green’s signature and the limited edition numbering. It is available with a bicolour stainless steel and yellow gold PVD rice-grain style bracelet.
