Radom begins construction of long-awaited pedestrian crossing

Construction has begun on a new pedestrian crossing near the Galeria Słoneczna shopping center in Radom. The project, located at the intersection of Kelles-Krauza and Struga streets, marks the conclusion of a 15-year campaign led by the Bractwo Rowerowe organization.

Since 2011, activists have advocated for the crossing to improve accessibility for pedestrians, particularly those with strollers or limited mobility, who previously had to take long detours. Funding for the construction was secured through the Intelligent Transport System project.
