Radom receives 15 million zł EU grant for pedestrian and bike corridors

The city of Radom in Poland has been allocated almost 15 million zł in European Union funding under the Mazovia 2021‑2027 programme. The money will be used to build and renovate pedestrian and cycling infrastructure on four streets – Witkacego, Szarych Szeregów, 11 Listopada and Żwirki i Wigury – bringing the total project cost to more than 20.6 million zł.

The plan includes continuous pedestrian‑bike routes, a new bus bay on Żwirki i Wigury, six Bike&Ride parking stations for 30 bicycles each, and self‑service bike‑repair points equipped with pumps, tools and a bike‑suspension stand. City officials say the investment will make Radom safer and more attractive for residents who choose to travel without a car.
