Radosław Majdan criticizes Zbigniew Boniek's PZPN presidency

Former Polish footballer Radosław Majdan has criticized Zbigniew Boniek regarding his tenure as president of the Polish Football Association (PZPN). Speaking on the ‘Ofensywni’ podcast, Majdan described Boniek as a ‘weak president’ who failed to make significant progress, particularly in youth football. Majdan also characterized Boniek’s personality during his time as PZPN vice-president as being like a ‘wedding uncle’ who always has an answer for everything.

Boniek responded to the criticisms by declining to engage deeply with the specific claims, instead suggesting that Majdan remains preoccupied with past political failures. Boniek referenced the 2016 PZPN elections, noting that Majdan had served as the campaign manager for Józef Wojciechowski, a candidate who lost to Boniek. Boniek dismissed the remarks by suggesting Majdan should focus on his own life rather than past sporting administration disputes.
