Radosław Sikorski shares apology letter from woman who sent threats

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has shared a letter on social media from a woman, identified as ‘Olga’, who had previously sent him threats and offensive content. In the letter, the author expresses deep regret for her actions, stating, ‘I am very sorry for what I did and I want to assure you that it was never my intention to cause you or anyone in your family a sense of threat or fear for their own safety.’

The author acknowledged that her behavior was ‘inappropriate and reprehensible’ and noted that her words caused the minister significant emotional stress. She stated that she has learned from the experience and does not intend to repeat such behavior.

Sikorski emphasized the need for legal consequences in extreme cases, noting that ‘haters must understand that they are not anonymous, and threats are a crime.’ This incident follows a similar occurrence three years ago when the minister publicly shared a handwritten letter containing insults from a political opponent.
