Radoslav Rosenov reaches European boxing final in Sofia

Bulgarian boxer Radoslav Rosenov has advanced to the final of the European Boxing Championships in the men's 60kg category. The 22-year-old secured his place in the final at the Asics Arena in Sofia after defeating Spain's Andres Hernandez with a 4:1 decision.

Rosenov's path to the final included a hard-fought quarterfinal victory against defending champion Vsevolod Shumkov of Russia. In that match, Rosenov won by a 3:2 split decision despite sustaining a cut over his eyebrow due to aggressive play from his opponent.

Rosenov is set to compete for the gold medal against Ukraine's Aider Abduraimov. Following his semifinal victory, Rosenov expressed his determination to win the title on home soil, noting that he had trained intensely for the championship.
