Radu Beller Street to host outdoor Beller Gallery sculpture exhibition

Radu Beller Street in Bucharest will be transformed into the Beller Gallery, a temporary outdoor exhibition space, on October 3 and 4. Organized by the Bucharest Sculpture Branch of the Union of Plastic Artists in partnership with the Sector 1 City Hall, the event aims to bring contemporary sculpture directly into the public sphere.

The exhibition features 28 works and installations by eight artists: Alin Carpen, Darie Dup, Alexandru Marinete, Alexandru Papuc, Alexandru Ranga, Elena Scutaru, Ovidiu Toader, and Victoria Zidaru. Curated by Reka Csapo Dup, the selection focuses on the relationship between the artworks and the street environment, utilizing unconventional materials and scales suitable for an outdoor setting.

In addition to the displays, the program includes interactive activities such as modeling and plaster printing workshops for children, as well as urban form exploration in Dorobanti Square. The event also features stands for small-scale sculptures available for purchase and a gastronomic route titled ‘Gustă Beller’ involving local restaurants.
