Radu Benea wins national coastal speed championship

Driver Radu Benea has secured his second consecutive absolute national tourism championship in the National Coastal Speed Championship. Driving a Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo, Benea achieved his sixth victory of the season during the final stage held on Drumul Poienii in Brașov, Romania.

Benea finished the season with 168 points, significantly ahead of runner-up Costel Cășuneanu, who earned 119 points. In the same event, junior driver Nicolas Benea secured the vice-championship title for Group 3. Despite leading the first heat, a gearbox issue with his Audi RS3 TCR in the decisive second heat prevented him from securing the division title, finishing just 0.8 seconds behind Bogdan Duma.
