Radu Dragusin defends fitness after red card in Romania loss
Radu Dragusin, currently on loan from Tottenham Hotspur to Fiorentina, faced a difficult period with both club and country. During Romania's 6-0 Nations League defeat against Poland, the defender was sent off in the 22nd minute following a challenge on Roberto Lewandowski.
Despite the red card and being omitted from a subsequent match, Dragusin has maintained that he is in 'good shape' and has accumulated sufficient match minutes to remain fit. He expressed continued confidence in Romania's manager, Gheorghe Hagi, noting that the team needs to show more determination on the pitch.
At the club level, Dragusin's move to Fiorentina includes a £21.4m obligation to purchase, a clause reportedly linked to concerns regarding his fitness following a previous ACL injury.
