Radu Drăgușin fit for Romania despite Fiorentina health concerns

Radu Drăgușin has shown improved form with Fiorentina following a period of intense criticism in Italy. After struggling during the early stages of Serie A, the defender has contributed to recent successes, including a 3-0 victory against Pisa in the Italian Cup.

Despite concerns regarding his health after withdrawing from the Pisa match, his agent, Florin Manea, confirmed that Drăgușin is fit and available for Romania’s upcoming match against Sweden. Manea stated that while the player felt discomfort, it was not serious and he chose not to force the issue.

Former international Răzvan Raț defended the player against recent criticism, noting that Drăgușin required an adaptation period following an injury. Raț emphasized that the player's value remains unquestioned despite a difficult start to his tenure in Italy.
