On 19 May 2026, a dispute between two men drinking alcohol in the Park Dolańskich in Radłów, Tarnów district, escalated when 38‑year‑old Dawid P. attacked his 34‑year‑old companion Paweł I. The assault left Paweł with severe head injuries; he was taken to hospital and died on 21 May.
