Radzyń Podlaski County acquires former PKO SA building

Radzyń Podlaski County has successfully completed a tender to purchase a former PKO SA bank building located on Warszawska Street. The local government acquired the approximately 1,600-square-meter property for 2.55 million PLN, which is roughly 700,000 PLN less than the amount previously secured in the budget.

According to County Starosta Szczepan Niebrzegowski, the acquisition aims to address housing shortages for various county units. Currently, some departments operate in rented spaces or buildings that do not meet the necessary standards for serving residents. The new facility is intended to improve working conditions for officials and enhance accessibility for citizens, including persons with disabilities.

The county plans to modernize and renovate the building to suit its new functions, with funding for these works expected to be allocated in the coming year.
