Rafał Brzoska launches ‘150%’ initiative against scam ads

Rafał Brzoska, founder and CEO of InPost Group, has launched the ‘150%’ initiative to demand greater financial accountability from digital platforms regarding fraudulent advertisements. The campaign seeks to implement a rule where any platform profiting from the emission of scam advertisements must pay a penalty equivalent to 150% of the revenue earned from that specific ad.

Brzoska argues that major tech companies, such as Meta, act as more than just passive intermediaries because they verify and profit from sponsored content that uses the likenesses of public figures and entrepreneurs to promote financial scams. The initiative includes a petition aimed at building social support to engage regulators, experts, and policymakers in creating systemic changes.

The proposed penalties would be calculated on a per-advertisement basis. The collected funds are intended to support a compensation fund to assist victims who have lost their savings or livelihoods due to these fraudulent schemes.
