Rafa Marin discusses Napoli return and partnership with Rrahmani

Napoli defender Rafa Marin has expressed his satisfaction with his return to the club and his current role under manager Max Allegri. In recent interviews, the Spanish defender highlighted his positive relationship with the coaching staff, noting Allegri’s emphasis on defensive phases and building play from the back.

Marin also discussed his partnership with teammate Amir Rrahmani, stating that he learns a great deal from the experienced defender during training and matches. Reflecting on his time at Villarreal in Spain, Marin noted the stylistic differences between Spanish and Italian football, describing the Italian game as more physical and requiring more running and combat.

The defender emphasized his commitment to the club’s goals, including the desire to win the Coppa Italia and maintaining Napoli’s position at the top of the standings. He also touched upon the importance of recent victories, such as the win against Bologna, in building team mentality.
