Rafael Brito holds major rally in Timon to launch 2026 political coalition

Mayor Rafael Brito held a large political rally in Timon to launch his group’s political strategy for the 2026 elections. The event served as a demonstration of his regional influence and mobilization capacity within the state of Maranhão.

During the rally, Brito announced his support for several candidates. The coalition includes Orleans Brandão for the Governor of Maranhão, Roseana Sarney and André Fufuca for the Senate, Dra. Gisele for Federal Deputy, and Socorro Waquim for State Deputy. Brito emphasized that the group is organized and prepared to work toward the advancement of Timon and the wider region.
