Rafael Brito signs two-year deal with Oțelul Galați

Oțelul Galați has officially signed Portuguese defensive midfielder Rafael Brito to a two-season contract. The 24-year-old joins the Romanian Liga 1 side as a free agent.

Brito developed through the Benfica academy, where he signed his first professional contract at age 16 and made 63 appearances for Benfica B. His professional career includes a loan spell at Marítimo and a permanent move to Casa Pia, where he competed in the Portuguese Primeira Liga. During the 2025-26 season, he recorded 25 appearances, two goals, and one assist.

A former youth international, Brito has represented Portugal at various levels from U15 to U20, totaling 32 appearances for the national youth teams.
