Rafael Câmara clinches pole position for Formula 2 Barcelona round
Brazilian driver Rafael Câmara, a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy and racing for Invicta Racing, secured pole position for the Formula 2 main race in Barcelona. In qualifying on Friday, he posted a best lap of 1:24.810, marking his second consecutive pole of the season and his first at the Catalan circuit since his dominant Formula 3 performance there.
Câmara, who sits seventh in the championship, praised the team's preparation during preseason testing in Barcelona, saying the car felt “very good” and that the team had “all the ingredients” for a title challenge. The sprint race is scheduled for Saturday, with the main race to follow on Sunday, both broadcast live on Sportv, Globoplay and F1TV.
