Brazilian driver Rafael Câmara has emerged as a leading candidate to secure a full-time seat with the Haas F1 Team for the 2027 season. While an official announcement has not yet been made, negotiations are reportedly in their final stages.

Câmara’s candidacy is bolstered by his performance during recent testing sessions in Portimão, where he reportedly recorded lap times comparable to current driver Oliver Bearman. He has received technical praise from Haas Team Principal Ayao Komatsu for his precision in car setup.

As a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy, Câmara benefits from the technical relationship between Ferrari and Haas. His potential promotion comes amid shifts in the team's lineup, including the possibility of Esteban Ocon departing the team. Industry expectations suggest a final decision could be reached by the end of September.
