Noel León wins Hungarian Formula 2 feature race

Mexican driver Noel León claimed his first Formula 2 feature‑race victory at the Hungaroring, winning the Hungarian Grand Prix on 26 July 2026. Starting from third on the grid, León benefitted from a Virtual Safety Car triggered by the retirement of fellow Mexican Rafael Villagómez, which allowed him to pit early and take the lead. He held off Kush Maini, who had started from pole and finished second, and Brazil’s Rafael Câmara, who completed the podium in third.

León’s win moved him to fifth place in the drivers’ standings with 94 points, while championship leader Nikola Tsolov remained on top with 167 points. Campos Racing, León’s team, leads the constructors’ championship with 261 points. The F2 season pauses for a summer break and resumes at Monza in early September.
