Rafael dos Anjos to return at UFC 332 against Alexander Hernandez

Former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos is set to return to the octagon at age 41. He will face Alexander Hernandez in a welterweight bout at UFC 332, scheduled for October 3 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City.

This marks dos Anjos's first appearance since October 2024, following a significant knee injury during his bout against Geoff Neal at UFC 308. The injury, which involved a torn ACL and meniscus, required three surgeries over a 14-month period. The upcoming fight will also serve as the 50th professional appearance of his career.

Dos Anjos enters the matchup following a three-fight losing streak. His opponent, Alexander Hernandez, is moving up to the 84kg welterweight division for the first time and holds a more recent winning record, having won four of his last five fights.
