Rafael Leao joins Galatasaray to partner with Victor Osimhen

Rafael Leao has expressed his enthusiasm following his move to Galatasaray from AC Milan, highlighting his desire to form a prolific attacking partnership with Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.

In interviews via Galatasaray’s official channels, the Portuguese international revealed that speaking with key squad members, including Osimhen, Lucas Torreira, and Leroy Sane, was a crucial part of his decision-making process. Leao noted that the move was driven by a sense of connection to the club and its history of hosting legendary players.

Leao stated his ambition to support Osimhen, jokingly claiming, “I want to make 100 assists for him this season.” The addition of Leao is intended to provide creative support for Osimhen, who has carried much of the team's attacking load since joining the club. The duo is expected to play a significant role in Galatasaray’s domestic campaign and their efforts in the UEFA Champions League.
